Time Flies
Somehow I missed the entire month of April. Could have been the insanity of TAX SEASON! AAAHHHH! Well, that is over and gone, and now it is back to normal here at work. Even a little mundane. No complaints though.
The weekend after tax season ended I took off for a mini vacation to Chicago to visit some old friends and former roommates. I loved, loved, loved seeing everybody, and eating all the yummy food, but now that I live elsewhere, Chicago seemed BIG and SCARY! I was like a little country girl going to the big city for the first time. The taxis, EL, streets, noises, night sort of terrified me. How did I live there a year without once getting freaked out? It seemed so normal at the time, but now that I'm out in Denver, it was all so different. It's not that Denver is a small town, but it has a sort of small town feel.

Much like Minneapolis did. They are just the right size in my mind, and I am now confident that I will never move back to a city that big again. I'll take my cows and open space anyday, and just visit when I want all the shopping and restaurants.
What else is new...next weekend I'm going back up to RC for Emily's bachelorette party. I am so excited for her, and I have never been so pumped for a wedding in my life. One more month.
Well, considering I'm working, I better cut this update short. Hopefully I won't let May slip away without another.
